GSA Schedule Application

A GSA Schedule application is submitted through GSA’s eOffer portal and includes your financials, past-performance documentation, technical narratives, and a pricing proposal built to GSA’s templates. The requirements: two years in business with financial statements, relevant past performance, an active SAM.gov registration, and completion of GSA’s required training. Reviews take months, and incomplete applications get returned. Unlike most pages on this topic, this one actually tells you what’s in the application.

What’s in the Application

In plain English: administrative documents (registrations, representations, your agent/negotiator authorizations); financial statements for the past two years; past-performance evidence (customer references or project documentation); technical narratives describing your experience and quality controls against GSA’s evaluation factors; and the pricing proposal: GSA’s templates, your rates, and support showing those rates are fair. The pricing section is where most of the negotiation happens.

The Requirements Checklist

  • Two or more years in business (limited startup paths exist: ask)
  • Two years of financial statements
  • Relevant past performance you can document
  • Active, current SAM.gov registration (free: here’s how)
  • GSA’s “Pathways to Success” training completed by your company
  • A product or service the government actually buys through the Schedule: the make-or-break question we check for free

Why Applications Get Rejected

The recurring failure points: choosing the wrong categories or codes for what you sell; pricing that can’t be supported when the contracting officer pushes back; missing or inconsistent documents; and slow responses to clarification requests, which cost you your place in the review queue. None of these mean your business isn’t qualified, they mean the application wasn’t built carefully. That’s fixable.

Do It Yourself, or Get Help?

The honest fork: you can do this yourself, the government charges nothing, and the materials are public. Budget 100+ hours and expect at least one round of corrections. Or have us build it: $5,995 flat, published: category selection, every document, the pricing package, submission as your authorized negotiator, and clarification support through award. Free readiness screen first; if you’re not ready, we say so and it costs nothing. The market charges $9,700-$21,000+ for the same scope and makes you call to find out. Full process walkthrough here.

Take the Next Step

The application rewards preparation and punishes guesswork. Whether you do it yourself or with us, start by confirming the Schedule is right for what you sell, that check is free either way.
