From Frustrated Conservatives, a Call to Take Away the Modern Filibuster
A handful of House conservatives are prepared to defund Planned Parenthood
and block an Iran nuclear deal by any means necessary. There is only one problem;
they say Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is standing in their way.
“You’re majority leader, you took over the job January 3, 2015. … You are

until the president transmits all “side deals” related to the Iran nuclear agreement.

applying to companies that do business with the government.
The directives range from Obama’s announcement of a higher minimum wage for employees
of contracting firms, to new rules requiring companies to report labor violations
as part of the bidding process.
