About Jonathan "JT" Taylor
Jonathan “JT” Taylor joined the Lobbyit team in October 2023 serving as a Government Relations Director. He has over five years of Washington, DC experience in lobbying, PAC management, state-level advocacy, and trade association work.
Prior to joining Lobbyit, Jonathan represented members of The National Waste & Recycling Association (NWRA) a trade association based in the Washington, DC area. In his role, he supported members of Congress, the Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, Consumer Product Safety Commission, and other relevant agencies. He also managed NWRA’s political action committee and worked with state chapters to address local issues for the industry.
Alongside working on the Lobbyit team, Jonathan also serves as the Medical Service Corps Operations Officer for the District of Columbia Army National Guard. There, Jonathan has received commendation medals for his service during emergency events in the DC region, and humanitarian missions in Kodiak, Alaska.
Jonathan is a graduate of The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina where he majored in Political Science, Pre-Law and minored in Fine Art Studies. He currently resides in Washington, DC where he spends his free time hiking with his dog Beans.
