Texas Christian University — alma mater to PI’s own Andrea Drusch — has hired Lobbyit.com to rep its name and national profile among members from the Lone Star State. Lobbyit.com President Paul Kanitra and senior lobbyist Nile Elam will be telling the Horned Frog story around the Hill, starting with Sens. Ted Cruz, John Cornyn and Rep. Roger Williams. Despite their purple credentials, Kanitra and Elam said the gig didn’t come easy, but the shop’s new focus on university issues and its unique business model sold Chancellor Victor Boschini on the deal.
